The Coaching Process
My approach is grounded in the GROW model — but taken much further. Where a standard coaching engagement might move through this framework quickly and focus on action, I work through each stage slowly and thoroughly. Because lasting change requires more than a plan. It requires understanding yourself well enough to actually follow through on one.
By the end of our six sessions together, clients typically feel clearer in themselves, more confident in their decisions, and less reliant on external validation. The goal is not perfection. It is a genuine trust in your own capacity to navigate what comes next — and a map to help you do it.

Sessions 1 & 2
What you want, and whether it's truly yours
We begin by exploring what has brought you to coaching and what you want to move towards. But we go deeper than the goal itself. We look at where it came from, what it means to you, and whether it genuinely reflects your own values or has been shaped by the expectations of others — family, culture, society.
We also explore what achieving this goal would mean about you as a person, and what not achieving it has meant. Sometimes staying stuck serves a purpose — safety, familiarity, avoiding something harder. Understanding that is part of the work.

Sessions 3 & 4
What's really been holding you back
This is where we look honestly at your current reality. Not just the practical obstacles, but the internal ones. The self-limiting beliefs that have been quietly running the show. The recurring patterns that show up not just here but across different areas of your life. The inner critic that gets loudest precisely when you're closest to moving.
We explore where these patterns came from and how they have been protecting you. Because most of what holds us back made sense at some point. Understanding that changes your relationship with it.

Session 5
What's available to you, and what you're willing to choose
With greater self-awareness comes greater choice. In this session we explore the options available to you, practically and emotionally. What resources do you have? What support do you need? What are you willing to say no to in order to move forward?
We also look at which options feel genuinely exciting versus which feel merely responsible because that distinction often tells you everything you need to know about which direction is truly yours.

Sessions 6
Your roadmap, built around who you actually are
The final session is where everything comes together into a clear, personalised roadmap. Not a generic action plan, but a map built around your specific goals, your patterns, and the self-knowledge you have developed throughout our work together.
We also build in your self-sabotage plan, because knowing what your inner critic will say when you start, and having a response ready, is the difference between a plan that lives on paper and one you actually follow through on. You leave not just knowing what to do, but trusting yourself to do it.
